This Mexican-style dish, Slow-Cooker Turkey Mole Street Tacos, is tasty and easy to make. Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 14 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 small corn tortillas
- Toppings: chopped cilantro, diced red onion, queso fresco, lime wedges
Instructions:
In a large skillet, cook ground turkey, onion, and garlic over medium heat until turkey is no longer pink; drain any excess fat
Transfer turkey mixture to a slow cooker
Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, peanut butter, cocoa powder, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper
