This is a healthy and hearty chicken pot pie recipe that will make you feel good. Great for a cozy dinner with family or a get-together with friends.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can 10
  • 5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C

In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, thyme, garlic powder, and black pepper

Transfer the mixture into a pie dish

Unroll the pie crust and place it over the filling, trimming any excess dough and crimping the edges to seal

Cut a few slits in the crust to allow steam to escape

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly

Let it cool for a few minutes before serving
