Gluten-Free Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars

These gluten-free chocolate pecan pie bars are rich and delicious. They are made with healthy ingredients and dont contain any grains or dairy. It works great for Paleo, GAPS, and gluten-free diets.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C

Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish

In a bowl, mix together almond flour, coconut flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt until well combined

Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish

Sprinkle chopped pecans and chocolate chips over the crust

In a separate bowl, whisk together coconut milk, honey, and vanilla extract

Pour this mixture over the pecans and chocolate chips

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set

Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares

Serve and enjoy
