Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets about 4-6 ounces each
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Orange slices for garnish optional

Instructions:

To make the marinade, combine the fresh orange juice, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, coconut aminos, orange zest, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets and place them in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag

To marinate, close the bag or cover the dish and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to two hours

Set the temperature of your grill pan or grill to medium-high

To keep the grill grates from sticking, lightly oil them with olive oil

Lift the salmon fillets out of the marinade and allow any leftover marinade to run off

Throw away the marinade

After preheating the grill, place the salmon fillets on it and cook for about 45 minutes on each side, or until the salmon has grill marks and flake easily with a fork

If desired, garnish the grilled salmon with slices of orange
